Extra Energy - Leaving advice?
Options
I have just received my Extra Energy bill and was shocked to find that they have increased my monthly direct debit an extra £11 a month. I keep accurate monthly figurers and I know exactly how much energy I use throughout the 12 month contract.
Phoned Extra Energy to see if they would reduce my monthly direct debit back, no chance they base their estimates on the winter readings which means in the summer your account goes way into credit, which Extra Energy are famous for not refunding.
So I've had enough with this company! Monthly bill is due in 3 days time at the high rate. Would it be best to cancel the direct debit after this bill has been paid? Any recommendations for a better energy company?
