Hi
Does anyone know/recommend any particular make of plastic oil tank e.g harlequin, titan, balmoral, over any of the others.
Just had a quote of £570 for 2100l Harlequin advanced single skin plastic tank plus £680 to fit it and was thinking this was pretty steep. The guy told me he thought harlequin were the best ones having come across a number of other plastic ones leaking after only a few years, but i can't remember which ones he slagged off. Any thoughts please?
Thanks

I replaced my metal tank a couple of years back, I went for another metal one because:
1. The plastic ones were about 3 times the price of a metal one.
2. I would be long gone before the new one would need replacing. (original lasted 17 years)
3. A Plastic tank is a lot bigger than a similar capacity metal one and hung out over the garden path.0 -
Bump!
We are replacing our calor gas system with oil, so need a tank. Also a boiler, if anyone has any views.
I read about a web supplier that was supposed to be cheap and reliable, but have lost the info, so I would be grateful for any suggestions!
Many thanks!0
