Hi all
Bob glad someone else has a DH like mine. DS1 opened a tin of tuna and there was some left. I took half of it for my sandwich this morning and put the other half back in the fridge for DH, knowing he really likes a bit of tuna. He opened a flippin new pack of ham because he didnt see the tuna! Next time I will have to leave him a note.
I need to start my energy spreadsheet again, I read the meter every Saturday morning for ages then stopped, not sure why.
And DS2 and I had words about parents evening and now he is not speaking to me, even though I tried to be very gentle. I hit a nerve I think. He will come around.
Might open a bottle of Christmas present wine. I feel like I need it tonight!0 -
Hi March Money-Watchers,
Just in from work. Not much to say really. Was not best impressed by my employer changing my shift for Easter week without so much as a "please" or a "thank-you". It just meant that I've had to book a holiday for the day I have to go for a bone marrow biopsy which I purposefully booked for what should have been my day off so that I wouldn't have to take a holiday. I do so hate being messed about.
But I should be grateful that I have a job and access to a healthcare system. And it does mean we'll have 3.5 days together over the Easter weekend.

Yorkshire Ha they do sound remarkably similar. I'm sorry it didn't go well with your son. He is so lucky to have a mum who gives a bleep though. I bet so many kids fail because they don't get the push they need at home. How many 16 year olds realise just how important these qualifications are. Hope he comes around soon.
