    Hello Friday People,
Lots of you still going through difficult times. Be strong - in my experience, which admittedly does not include small children - small steps towards practical solutions are more helpful than beating ourselves up.
Weather has reverted back to chilly grey drizzle.....oh the joy of the East Midlands! Got off to a good start though.
*Cleaned all of downstairs using minimal products & washable cloths.
*Tended the army of seedlings in conservatory which will go down to greenhouse at the weekend if it's warm enough (future food).
*Changed towels & loaded into washer for cheap overnight wash at some point.
*Free fitness. Brisk 50 min walk around the village. Mr New Pedometer said most of those steps were aerobic which is motivating to an 'exercise phobic'.
OK, so I've done those things. These are the things I will crack on with as soon as I've finished my coffee:
*Hoover upstairs & empty all the bins....also squidge down to empty compost bucket, all of which will add to today's step count.
*Write up next week's meal plans.
*Write shopping list & list of stuff we need to do on city centre trip tomorrow.
*Round up all relevant vouchers to put in my purse. Am sure there's a triple nectar points voucher somewhere & we defo have a 37p brand match to use.
*Make a couple of filled rolls & pack crisps to prevent the supermarket cafe panini/chips combo tempting us into spending & waistline silliness.
*Continue knitting for an order I've had.
*Do a few surveys over lunch.
*Free leisure activities today. Mr f's cooking night. Intend to start new library book & progress a bit of family history.
*Make list of food items to take to Easter family day a week tomorrow. We have divided up food so everyone contributes something.....splits cost & effort.
*Write a job list for Mr f. No. 1 will be dealing with our guest bedroom, which seems to have morphed into a place where old random bits of tech go to die. No. 2 will be making me a bumblebee house. All equipment already in shed, he knows how to make one. I love bees & would like in in place for my birthday next month.
    OK, hoover calling.
    F xx

    Hi Everyone!

Sorry I've been quiet lately. Just wanted to report in.

Since November I have paid off £4392 of debt, with £8850 still remaining. :D

Next month we will be able to completely clear the first credit card. I can't wait for this to happen as it will be a major milestone to us.

    Onwards and upwards!

    Hope everyone is well!

    Hi all.

Make the Change - I have two young kiddos and can appreciate how you must be feeling. Is there a reason why they're crying? or just normal 'notwantingtogotobed-itis'? Can you assign your other half some other jobs that he can be doing so that he is being useful and helpful whilst you settle the kids? Perhaps he could be making you dinner whilst you do the bedtime routine?
Also please do try and get help. PM me if you want to chat xx

    My day:
    > pub lunch (planned and was only £7)
    > bought tea today (70p for 2 cups)
    > bought chocolate bar and polos (v bad, £1 total)

Really tired as littlest kiddo has been poorly and spent the entire night in our bed kicking me. He's been in & out of our bed all week, can barely keep my eyes open.

Hoping (and planning) for a productive weekend of listing items for sale, paying in a cheque, checking kiddos shoe size (hoping not to have to buy new shoes just yet), and giving the house a good old clean and tidy.

Hope you're all having a fab Friday x
    New total: £24,006 :(
    I will do this.

Really cold here this morning, hard frost first thing and now it has got foggy as well - and I have unashamedly put the heating on  Well, it has stayed really cold and miserable all day, such a change from yesterday :(

    My list for today:
    So far I have:
    Cheapie porridge breakfast
    Washed the kitchen floor
Put on a load of washing

    Still to do:
Usual dog walks OH did both today
    Check banks Still to do
Clean rest of house, must do this today Done
Gardening if it warms up No, too cold
Take some items to sales unit Done
Any surveys, check FPL Quite a lot of onepoll surveys today, but they were soooo boring, and the web site was really slow as well
HM meals from stores In progress

Hmm boring list today - will check back later and update!

Very boring list - the only other thing I have done worthy of mention is to clean the outside of the small freezer in the conservatory and list the contents of both freezers. They are not as stuffed as usual as I have been using up a lot of the HG fruit (not much of that left now), but still loads of meals in there :) Must type up the list!

    Hi All

Happy Friday to everyone. I am so looking forward to the weekend. Things I have done/am doing:

    1) Fridge organising. My OH is not very good at seeing the woods for the trees for some reason. He takes a sandwich or leftover hot food every day for work. But if I don't point out what needs using u0 he some how doesn't see it. Point in case my son has to have a lunchbox for his all day session at dance tommorow. There has been half a cooked pizza sat in the fridge all week which could have gone with OH to work. It has now done an afternoon snack for son and the other 2 slices are in his lunchbox for tommorow. I also made him a bacon sandwich with 2 cold rashers left from another meal. Again could have been used up but.....no offence to OH but he just doesn't have the same fridge ninja skills as me.

    2. Rounded up all the change for weekend treat usage. We had about £13 sitting in the kitchen change pot.

    3. Checked banking. 1 last bill to go out next week. It's for energy. It's reminded me that I want to finally change provider. And to make sure OH knows that the heating is going off on April 1st so he can change the setting. Latest bill for gas and electricity is £117 ouch. I know we can get it down to around £60 per month once the heating goes off.

Got to go being pestered :)

    Hi all

    Many thanks for the support.
We are trudging along. Turns out the cause is the rain, sheep have invested mud with grass. Also turns out many of our neighbors are in the same place.
    Poor sheep all round.
24 hour shifts at the omens so I am about to sleep until 4 am.
Night all, keep up the savings everyone. Xx
