    I can't see a competition!
  • You click on one of the hotels, then click on one of the rooms/suites. Each time you will be shown a fact and then asked a question based on that fact, you get 3 goes at it. Just work your way through all the rooms.

Then choose another hotel and repeat.

I don't understand this at all - may be my browser isn't working!?
    Baby Step 1 - £1k Emergency Fund - COMPLETE
Baby Step 2 - Pay off all debts except the Mortgage - £9,326 to go
Baby Step 3 - Save 6 months of expenses into full Emergency Fund - £4,300 to go

Baby Step 4 - Put 15% into Pension
Baby Step 6 - Pay off the Mortgage early
    Baby Step 7 - Live like no-one else :D
  • Actually I don't think you have to click on each room - I think there are a set number of questions per hotel so you can keep clicking on the same one or two rooms.

You can click on the same room and the fact will change and a new question asked. Seems to be 11 questions per hotel (I've only done 2 hotels so far!). If it's applicable to all hotels in the drop down there will be 99 points up for grabs.

    From the T&Cs:
On 29 March 2016 00:00 GTM, a computer algorithm will randomly select four entrants who are within the top ten per cent of Points accrued by all the entrants at the date on which the computer algorithm makes its random selection. For the avoidance of doubt, there shall be no more than four winning entrants.
Prizes won in 2019: A dress, hand pampering set, luggage set, 12x packs of mints, vegan cheesemaking set, burrito voucher, 3x vegetable boxes, and a Nutella hamper :j

Total value of prizes won in 2017: £110 ~~~ Total value of prizes won in 2018: £2450

  • The cheapest room at The Dorchester is £580 a night so might not be worth the effort unless you are a regular visitor to Dorchester Hotels...?

You can use it at any of the hotels in the Dorchester Collection (they will ask you which hotel you want to use it in before they issue you the voucher/certificate), so you can use it for a stay that is less than £500 per night (Ascot is closer to £300 for example).

Also, you should (I've haven't checked for this one, but it has been the case with their past competitions) be able to redeem it for lunch, dinner, afternoon tea or for any treatments in the spa, so you could use it for a combination of things and still keep under the £500 :)
