And I'm proud of you Calley
Not only are you caring (your husband, and my PMS testify to that) but your growing in self awareness.
If that sounds patronising I don't mean it like that am genuinely chuffed to bits. X0 -
Interesting to know it's not a male /female thing. I totally agree on the eat what's there and don't waste food thing though, in fact it is the only way I can make myself eat fruit, coz I would rather eat it than let it go to waste ( although I will often shove it in a fat free jelly instead coz it seems less fruit like!)0

I hereby nominate myself for the plonker of the day award. My new table that had the sanded surface that needed varnishing?
That'll be because the table was upside down and that was the bottom.I'm not the handiest person but I'm not generally that lacking in common sense.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -

Elsien,
Don't worry. When I first got my sewing machine and wanted to take up a hem on a pair of trousers. I stitched across the bottom so you could not get your foot out :rotfl:
Yes what a plonker. Never did that again.

Have you also done the hand sewing the trousers you are shortening to the trousers you are wearing trick? It's not as hard as you might imagine.
Or the supergluing the cup you are drinking from to the kitchen surface while attempting to repair something else?

I've lost my mug. I was drinking tea from it earlier while watching the snooker, and it has vanished. It's bright orange and red with a drawing of a cat on the side, so not easily overlooked, and I haven't been anywhere today so no idea where I could have put it, it's all very twilight zone :eek:Proud member of the wokerati, though I don't eat tofu.Home is where my books are.Solar PV 5.2kWp system, SE facing, >1% shading, installed March 2019.Mortgage free July 20230
