WW,
Massive hugs. I never advocate the use of credit cards. But do you have one as you really need to get your meds. They are are your number one priority as with out them you know what will happen.
They only take a few days to get out the system but 3-4 weeks to build up in the system .
Another massive hug

WW - I hope you and Littlewing are feeling better today.
How long have you got to wait for your husband to get paid? Is there anyone who could lend you something to tide you over, and for you to get your meds, until then?0 -
WW. hope little wing recovers soon. I've been in hospital for 2 days . it was really scary and this has never happened before.. my gp rang up and told me that the crp test that she picked up on last week had rocketed and told me to go straight to hospital, thinking I might have an abcess in y bowel..It takes so much to make myself go there, but I did, they kept me in, I had to argue and fight for a ct scan, but it didn't show any infection in my bowel, but they realised that I was fighting some sort of serious infection, somewhere. . They refused to do any extra tests so they never found where the infection is, but they gave me iv antibiotics plus some super strong ones to take at home.
It was traumatic and harrowing being there,, so scary and triggery. I'm glad I've got a proactive gp finally. I've been feeling so ill for the last 3 months, and these test results explain why. Hopefully the antibiotics will knock the infection out of my body. It could be from the chronic sinusitis I get all the tie due to my structural nose probs.
When I got home, I received a letter from the endocrinologist who must've read my bone scan results, telling my gp that my spine has severe osteoporosis in, ad that I'm very high risk of spinal fractures, which I already knew about, but he is changing my hrt and upping my calcium tablets. All in all a scary week with my healthMany thanks to all who contribute on MSE0 -

Poor littlewing, hope she's feeling better today, and you too WW. Fwiw, I'd have been annoyed at being dragged around shops with a poorly child too, what was your dad thinking?! Really hope you get your prescription sorted too.0

Big hugs for you and Littlewing, Whitewing. I am glad she is feeling a little better, I would have been frustrated too.
Big hugs for you too, Faerie. I am sorry you were in hospital. I hope the medication works quickly for you.
It seems to be a day for hospitals. Milliefleur fell downstairs an hour ago and has been taken to hospital. She has injured her leg but they are still examining her so we don't what she has done yet.
ETA Correction, BIL apparently got the wrong patient and we have been waiting for news about someone else! He has no idea what hospital she is in and says it's going to just annoy him to try to find out. We are trying to find her. It doesn't even annoy me anymore, it's just typical.
ETA again- We have found Milliefleur. She is about to be taken for surgery and they will know more afterwards.Until one has loved an animal a part of one's soul remains unawakened - Anatole France

Littlewing is loads better and pain free today.
I went into the city as I was a participant for a mh research project today. (Mainly tests on the computer but surprisingly tiring). Anyway, I got travel reimbursed and paid for doing it so I can pick up the prescription tomorrow. DH has been slightly annoying as he is putting all my 'feedback' down to me not having my antid's and therefore disregarding everything that has annoyed me. But I have been somewhat harder-than-normal to live with.
We found a brilliant playground for littlewing. She spent hours there with DH and tried new apparatus for older children, despite being scared initially. She was so proud of herself.
Also managed to pick up a free item via gumtree for when the decorating is finished. It's great and the spooky thing is, I had seen it in the shop online but obviously couldn't buy it, and now we've got it anyway.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Hope millefleur is being well taken care of and that you and WaSp are not finding it too stressful.
Thanks everyone, as usual, for your support.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
Glad Littlewing is on the mend WW
I have a question for the muscial amongst you - would trying to learn a muscial instrument (piano specifically) be a silly idea for an adult? There was no way we'd have had one at home growing up so I ended up doing the clarinet for a few years until pressure of homework got too much. Nowadays electronics has the solution to needing a huge heavy thing that goes out of tune all the time in the house and it's something I've been thinking about on and off for many years, but have never quite made the leap.

Evening my Lovelies,
Hugs, handshakes and squishes all round.
I really don't know what to do at the moment. I really not sure if I can ever face going back to work. Yes I know I sound pathetic. But the thought of stress and having the shakes in the middle of night just does not appeal to me.
But I need some more income from somewhere. As £300 a month really does not cover any extras.
The car has to go in for a MOT this week. need to hope and pray that it passes. As Lego man was going to sort it all out for me. And me pay for the parts and take it in for a MOT.
Mind you not helped by about 2 and half hrs sleep last night
Glad to hear WW that things are a bit better.
Yours
