Default From Santander (Store cards)

I don't know my account number, I do know my credentials so emailing people is quite difficult.

No paper copy of my bills, Found a reference number though on a barclays bank statement.

Hi All, Long story short I wanted to challenge a default from 2011, phoning Santander they have no record of my accounts ( i don't have any details etc) So I have provided the information name old address etc. was told the cards are now with new day so asked them was informed no information of me exists and wouldn't of been migrated. go back to santander told no information exists for me.
So i go to experian and challenge the default and said they have not provided the enough information etc Santander replied said the default is correct however everytime i call them they can't find my store card account details in the system.
my first question here, are Santander allowed to lie to experian and credit agencies if not how do I complain.

Secondly if they have no information about me how can the information they placed on my credit record still be allowed to remain. I did have a store card, I didn't receive a default notice this is my challenge.
