Currently have iPhone 5c but only 16gb and screen teeny. Also using Moto g 3rd gen which I like but only 8gb, is slow and can't save music to sd card so only a temp measure.
Happy to go to android or iphone, would prefer to buy phone outright for £200 ish but phone is fab would be happy to take on contract up to £35 ish a month.
So, needs:
really decent internal storage, I pretty much run the house from my phone, so manage banking, spreadsheets, kids school accounts, household shopping (asda and ocado apps) etc (use onedrive for storage and outlook for email)
storage for decent games too (commute 3+ hours a day by public transport!, however I'm talking candy crush/peggle etc not gamer games)
ditto iplayer/4od etc
good camera as don't have a separate one
use apple player for all our family music - so windows phone out for that (have 3 kids so family subscription for all 5 of us only £15 a month)
be about 5 ish inches only, have small hands and would like to use one handed if possible .
if the Samsung/iPhone really are the best for these I am happy to go with but just seems soooo much money for what I need.
Thank you
Rebecca
PS - either unlocked or on 3, id, ee extra so can use abroad within plan

If your doing all that on a phone then, if you are going for Android, only go for Nexus or Motorola's as they are the only ones that get the latest updates (especially security updates) quickly.
Hope that helps.0 -
Key here is Apple and the question can you move away from your Apple services .0

Ive got a xperia z3 compact and it seems to fit your requirements quite well.
Not sure about apple player, dont use it. If its available through android youll be able to get it.
Screen size is 4.6 inch and borderline touching the top left of the screen one handed, depends how im holding it. Didnt thinki had small hands but now im doubting myself  know how trump must feel now.
Storage is only 16gb but easily made up by up to 64gb micro sd (guessing you can use larger although never tried and thats the spiele from sony.
Sony have just a released updated software but not sure exactly what it entails0 -
Thanks so far - yes Apple music works fine on Moto G other than not being able to save to sd card - other than that and son's occasional requests for things in app store (can approve via ipad) feel no particular desire to stick with apple, other than security and ease (but at such a price!)
if Android def want one that's using marshmallow as that's got the using sd card as internal memory update which is awesome.:eek::eek: LBM 11/05/2010 - WE DID IT - DMP of £62000 paid off in 7 years:jDFD April20170 -
A mate of mine who runs his life/business off his mobile reckons that OnePlus is the bees knees. I don't know about your specific requirements, but they should be worth a look.0

It might be worth looking at the Honor phones at 3, if you want good smartphone performance on a budget.0
