JET2 making it difficualt for a compansation

Hello,
this is the first time I write. I am using the Resolver website to get compansation for a flight delay of over 6 hours, occured more than two years ago. I applied for a compensation at that time but they declined my application.
So now I am trying again with Resolver, and the Customer Support Team from Jet2 answered my first letter requiring details that I already gave them (this is rediculous) and a copy from the email confirming the booking or copy of the boarding pass (which is stupid because that wouldn't prove I got on that flight anyway!!!).
What do you suggest me to write to them? It's impossible for me to get those emails. Are they just trying to make my application difficult?
Thanks for reading and helping!

Dedicated Jet2 thread, not your own please, read Vauban's guide then move forward.
(and a spellchecker? If you're new. read The FAQ and Vauban's Guide
The alleged Ringleader.........0 -
I'll pay attention to my spelling, but I am Italian and not using a spellchecker right now. Sorry!!!!!;)0

Your English is a lot better than my Italian! Jet2 are indeed stringing you along as you suspect. As JP says find and read Vauban's guide and then reply to the address they gave you supplying enough detail to show you were passengers and request acknowledgement and compensation by a specific date or you will issue Court proceedings. (An 'NBA' letter). Let us know how you get on!0

Thank you Harrogate! The bad thing is that they accept only claims by paper mail, no email!! I am wondering wether I should contact those "no win no fee" solicitors....0

If you have any doubt re fronting your own claim better to use a NWNF rather than walking away. In your case Bott & Co may be the best firm to use as they have a track record of taking on Jet2 and winning.0

I contacted that firm, but would it be worthy considering I might get a compensation not bigger than 250-300 pounds?0

Your posts should be on the dedicated Jet2 thread.
Most NWNF charge around the same ie they take just over a quarter of what is due to you.
Therefore just under three quarters should find its way to you.
Whether c. 70% of the claim is worth having is up to you but to my way of thinking something is better than nothing.0 -

TRUE! :beer:0 -
[FONT="]By all means use a nwnf solicitor as they do all the work for you. They then take a fairly big chunk of your compensation. If you write a well argued NBA letter (which it will be if you read Vauban's guide) you may well find these days this produces results by itself and you could always have the nwnf lawyer 'in reserve'.
