Walked the dog for around 5 miles, sold some yarn, done 2 typing jobs, a load of washing and DW done and now going to hang washing up to dry and then do what I can in living room. Can't believe it's almost 1.45 already - where on earth does the time go?

    Hey,

I'm sorry, I disappeared for ages. House is an absolute pig sty!!! Feeling super stressed and unorganised. So need to jump back on it.

Thanks for the list pigpen, I will be flying off my own little list but will be here for motivation, support and ideas.
Have been following all these months but not posting as house was just getting worse.

Started a major declutter yesterday. But house is looking far worse than better. Roo is poorly and I'm at paid stuff so for now nothing is getting done..... But I will endeavour to do some tonight.

gWS vibes for biscuit and pigpen, chin up LW and CY huge posi vibes for you.
    right surely it's cake time!

    Much love

Busy day for everyone, it seems!

I have been to the tip with the broken dog cage, nipped into Aldi for a few bits, suffered a mild tantrum from Tiny at the same time, so dragged him round kicking and screaming, bought some flowers for DH's cousin's wife who has awful morning sickness and popped to hers to deliver them and have a cuppa. Managed to get her to walk down to her local park with us and push Tiny on the swings for a bit, called in on DH's aunt on the way back and bullied her into agreeing to a hairwash next Tuesday. Honestly, I don't think she's had a bath since her son's wedding three years ago  and have just eaten two sausage rolls, a bowl of granola and half a punnet of grapes for my lunch. Enjoying a cuppa in the sunshine while Tiny snoozes...

lol.. Dizzy I don't think I've had a bath for about 7 or 8 years! .. does she struggle to get in the bath? My nanna hadnt had a bath in 4 years and SS assessed her and installed a wet room last year.. if she might find that useful.

Thanks nicki, I hope you get sorted with a ne email addy soon.

Dizzy mil had her bath took out and a shower with seat installed as she couldn't get in the bath even to stand under the over bath shower. It's made it a lot easier.
On subject of mil went round this morning and had a very tactful talk, and pointed out how much she upset dd3 by making unkind comments about her hair and picking fault with the wedding plans. I've told her she is welcome round at Easter for dinner but she is NOT to be mean to my children so really needs to think before she comments on things. She said dd3 must have very thin skin if she was so easily upset so I pointed out previous times that she's made similar comments about her other grandchildren. (I did point out the the girls had said collectively that if I turn that mean when I'm old I'll be looking after myself!) I think she was quite shocked that they have all been offended by her at some point.

Told Dh what I'd said and he said he'll see what is Said tonight when he pops round but will stand by everything I've told him.

Been to work so need to do some flying and flinging now. I may even iron.

Hugs to all who need one

Thinking of you CY and hope treatment goes ok and without reaction today.x

Lots of MIL going on with all of us it seems. I've been getting a bit of feedback from Mr N who has been with MIL since lunch time while she has various assessments - it all sounds very promising for all sorts of carers allowance/equipment promised. I took a call from the manager of the housing unit we hope to get her into; a delightfully warm lady who can come out this week to assess and get her on the waiting list for the next board meeting on 20 April. This will give her a status on the list which is dependent on how much additional care she may need.

I have managed to bully the internet into working on my desktop PC and have typed over half a report.
Fed birds (2 fairies on feeder)
    Cleaned washbasin in en suite.
Emptied and put away items from weekend bag and wash bag.
Cleaned/tidied a bit of desk (revealed when I took PC down to dining room close to the router/modem thing).
Wiped over kettle (yes I know that is random and not on today's list, but I had a cloth in my hand and it looked like it needed a wipe).
    Contacted a number of students.
    Dealt with emails.

Have a nasty feeling it may be the rebounder as exercise this eve, as I really don't have a lot of time this week so Body Pump may be out. I have run up and down stairs a lot today!

Hope no reaction other than positive healing today CY

I've done a mountain of washing so there's none left in the baskets and its all been hung out to dry :D I've even done one lot of throws from the sofas. There's another from the other sofa to do, and I plan on doing that tomorrow as the lines are both full ATM and the sun will be setting soon. I even took the rubber clothes brush to the rug while it was on the line. Its still not dog hair free but it's getting there. The rug needs a good beating so I'll do that when I've posted this.

Accounts and budgets all up to date and not as bad as I had feared, I just need to watch that I don't over spend on budgets for the rest of the month as my next big pay is the 4th April and of course the majority of the bills come out on the 1st! In the process I've cleared loads of papers from the desk area and tidied out all 3 of my desk drawers :) I feel much calmer for achieving that as it was getting really frustrating trying to find anything in them and the papers were taking over the area.

After I've done the rug I need to go find some clean clothes, jump in the shower then go make 2 deliveries before I come home and watch some TV with DD while I iron. Well that's the theory, in practice something else will probably happen but there you go :rotfl:

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
