Galaxy S6 - Marshmallow 6.0 Update

I've noticed that my friends with their S6 on O2 have got the Marshmallow update available to install on their devices now.

I bought my S6 outright and it's not locked to any network but when i check for updates, none are available.

I was always under the impression that networks rolled out their updates last as they had to add in their splash screens and bloatware.

Does anyone else here have an S6 they bought outright and if so, have you got any updates available to Marshmallow?

Updates are usually in a very varied rollout .
UK BTU is the one that's usually non network .It has been rolled out within the last few days as have some but not all networks 6-01 .

When i bought my S6 it was from a website recommended by users here. Brand new, boxed etc. The only strange thing is the default installation language was German.

I wonder if this is why there are delays with me getting the update.

Bought my S6 from O2 and it is now unlocked.

I checked and there is indeed an update :j

My guess is that its not a UK phone .
Only about a third of German product codes have the latest update .

All of our work mobiles are SIM free. Some have had the Marshmallow update, others not.

Regarding the default language some of ours were in Portugese but it's easy enough slide the language bar up and down to resolve. I suppose it depends on the delivery source? Ours come through channel partners so we are not too bothered about the default language.

Check your build version if its BTU you should be amongst the first to get updates
