    Yes! I think it may be a Scottish saying.

    Yes and my whirly- gig does go round, sometimes extremely fast, but as we are up a hill there is usually a lot of wind, great for drying clothes.

    Yes - and we used to live near a roundabout / place called the whirlygigs. Double Scottish whammy.
