Yahoo access problem

Hi I have just switched from Sky to Bt last Monday. I had no problems accessing Yahoo until today. Anything to do with Yahoo will not connect. Instead I get a bt message saying to check that the laptop is set to automatically connect to websites and that the DNS setting is set to connect automatically. I have checked these and both are set to automatic. Bt then say try a different site and if no problem then the Bt protect/Child settings can be switched off. I cant understand how yahoo could be restricted by the bt protect and am worried to turn them off as I have had emails sent to myself and others purporting to be from me. I have tried system restore and turning off add ons but no success. I have MacAfee installed and it says all is ok . Can anyone help please? I can access my emails on my iphone on same wifi. Thanks.

I found my own answer after much searching so am posting for anyone else who has the same problem. I have McAfee always running but decided to run a malware-bytes search. After a full scan only one thing was found and after deleting it I had my yahoo access back.:rotfl: :T::j:T:rotfl:Thanks to all competitions posters and answer finders:TDon't squander time its the stuff lives are made of:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0
