National grid - alternative heating and cooking equipment

Hi,
I recently was without gas for 5 days.
National grid gave me a electric fan heater and stove.
Are these on loan, how do I give them back?
Or do I accept them as compensation for 5 days of cold showers?
I know there is compensation of 30 pound per day but that depends if it is their fault for the disconnection.

You should assume they were a loan, give them back so others can benefit from the when needed0

what did they (or their paperwork) say when they gave them to you?0
