Are these only gas/elec price comps - MSE Cheap En Club, tariffteam & USwitch?
Options
I've been told that the usual price comp sites - GoCompare, MoneySup, Confused - don't always have the lowest, short-lived tariffs, so I should use the others.
I don't know what they are, though, except for MSE's Cheap Energy Club, Uswitch and TariffTeam.
Any others?
Cheers.
I don't have any links to any of the companies.

Collective switches do not appear on comparison sites UNLESS the site is working in partnership with another organisation. That said, if the collective switch remains open then it would seem that the switch must be shown to existing customers on their bills:
Requirement to include available collective switching tariffs in the CTM
The CTM acts as a one-stop-shop for consumers to find a better deal with their current supplier. In line with this policy intent, we think that consumers would expect the information provided to be comprehensive and include all the tariffs on offer from their current supplier or White Label partner.
Moreover, the licence specifically requires suppliers to include all tariffs, including collective switch tariffs, in the CTM if they are available to customers.2 Accordingly, if a collective switch tariff remains open to customers after the winning supplier has been chosen, then such a tariff must be included in the CTM on all communications for the duration that the tariff in question is available. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. I guess I'm looking, in particular, for those sites that might offer the collective switches, if these type of tariffs are the ones likely to be the cheapest and short-lived.
I only know of the 3 sites I mentioned and I'm holding-off switching again, to see if prices drop again. My experience of the Cheap Energy Club is that their collective switch is the cheapest, when it is offered, but is only ever available once a year. The power companies seem to be in cahoots with each-other, rotating which one offers the cheapest deal and moving the latest deal to a new switching company, when the current one expires.
After MSE's expired, there was a new one on Uswitch and, when that expired there was - still is - one on tariffteam.
I wondered where the next deal would appear, if I don't take up the current one I'm aware of. Have I missed a company that might offer one of these brief deals?0 -

Comparison sites do not show collective switches as individual suppliers are not allowed to promote them because of the 4 tariff rule. Collective switches are switches arranged through a third-party such as Moneysupermarket.com, 38 Degrees, The Daily Telegraph et al. You normally have to be signed up to to these individual sites be offered these deals. Not all collective switches offer cash back. Things might change if the CMA Report is implemented in full.
Finally, do not be seduced into thinking that if a site offers the Cheapest than the Cheapest Deal that it will give you the cheapest energy. You need to look at separate suppliers for that,This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
