I've posted this in the Broadband forum as well.

Webspace is closing

Sadly, from 28 April 2016, we’ll no longer be able to offer the Webspace service. If you're a current Webspace user, we can understand how disappointed you might feel to lose the service

Considering the exorbitant price increases over last few years, that's pretty petty & pathetic.

Smartcall also going. I use that for handsfree calls to 0800 and weekend landlines using the mobile.

I'm also looking for free web space.

I don't think Virgin are waiting until April to get rid of the web space.

I built a web page that has all my favourites links on it so I don't need to transfer them when I use another computer or browser.

Since yesterday I've been getting a bad gateway error and also partial loading of the page.

My webspace still seems OK. I asked in another thread about alternatives, so may be worth looking there:

Probably overloaded with everyone rushing to backup their sites before they're deleted.

Virgin Media are also axing their Cloud service too (received the letter yesterday).
