It takes a lot of effort and reputation management to get that sort of thing off Google's front page, and most scammers don't bother as there are plenty of marks that won't bother Googling and it's not worth the effort when you plan to take the money and run in a few months or years.
The OP could, if he wished, do a more effective job than this by setting up his own warning site. It is up to him whether he wishes to do so. I don't think this thread has any place here, though. It is simply a warning, so it is off topic for this board.0 -
Just to be very clear. 1, I dont know any one that has two lots of life savings? 2, Hind sight is a wonderful thing and yes I have lost money in a what is turning out to be a big international scam along with 1200 other people that has also forced a UK sipp company in to administration with investmestments of over 100 million sterling.
Sorry i bothered to feed the MSE trolls0 -

Presumably if you lose your first lot of life savings and then save a pound the next day, your life savings will be a pound, and continue to accumulate from there. If you like, you could continue to throw those savings away every year, every five years, or every decade or two, in bad investments. Certainly it's not something you want to make a habit out of.
Losing 'less than your life savings' is probably more common than losing everything because most people aren't so greedy as to put everything in something that could go wrong.
I appreciate it probably comes off as insensitive but being kicked when you're down by smarta rses on here is just another disincentive to invest in get-rich-quick schemes that are fraught with risk and not recommended by regulated IFAs. Got to be cruel to be kind!
Of course, I probably wouldn't think so if it was my close family member that got duped by a salesman, but we're OK so far, touch wood... :cool:0 -

Anybody noticed that Capitalise Invest have removed helios hub from their site?
Maybe they realised what they were doing getting into bed with Martin and Clews?
Wonder what the plot in almansa will be called next... A name change every few years...
Helios Hub has been removed from our website due to an exclusivity agreement in the middle East. Your claims are entirely false.0
