e2save credit check failed

That's untrue. No organisation will tell you why, unless it was E2Save and not a credit issue as such (i.e. too many contracts in a short period). Any deposit is for the network, not the dealer. O2 is the only one I've ever know ask for one, but there is usually a reason.0

I've got an update from Esave today. They say the new network I would be going to (EE) have turned down the application. They have offered to check another network for me. They have also said I can check my credit reports which I'm going to do next.0

There must be something not quite right on your credit file.0

do you live in a flat?Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Moved recently? On the electoral roll?No free lunch, and no free laptop0

Hi again all. Sadly I have just paid for my Experian report and am awaiting the passcode to log in. I don't live in a flat, I am on the electoral role and have not moved house for years. I will just have to wait and see what the problem is. Thanks0

Hi again all. Back with an update to my problem regarding e2save and ee. I received an email from e2save saying that it was ee who had rejected my application as credit check failed. I ordered a copy of my credit report and it is clear with no search showing by ee. I then contacted them to ask why my application was declined. They replied saying that they cannot advise the reason but gave me a code to use within 60 days saying they were now pleased to approve a contract and to either contact them or go back to e2save. I tried to go back to e2save by replying to an email I had received from Charlotte at the company who says ' do not hesitate to contact me if you require anything further'. My email response to her failed as it was sent to me from an unmonitored email and advised me to go to their website for help. I did this and found that the original order I used has now been deleted from their system so there is no way to log in or complain or tell them I have now been approved for the contract. The price on carphone warehouse/ e2save site has gone up and the contract costs more on ee anyway. I would like to know how I can report these companies and to who as at best this is shady dealing. I've looked at trading standards who don't seem to have a category for mobile phone providers, CISAS whose categories for complaint don't seem to fit mine and neither does Ofcom. Can anyone help to point me in the right direction? I would like to report both companies for the hassle, time and stress caused making me think there was something bad on my credit report. There is a link on community links on ee where other customers have the same issues. If someone doesn't challenge this sort of behaviour it will happen again to others so any input or advice much appreciated.0
