Refund from Bank in regards to cancellation
Wondering if someone could advise me please, Last week I applied for a mobile phone on a monthly contract online and made payment for the handset during the application, After a couple of days of not hearing anything I decided to cancel my order, What surprised me as that the payment for the handset was showing as taken from my bank, I then called "mobilephonesdirect and asked them about the payment, They then told me that the bank bank puts a hold on this payment while an application is made and takes 3-5 working days for it to be put back into my bank account, I have checked each day and its still not showing as available funds but it showing in my balance so it clearly looks like it is being "Held"...I'm not very happy as the 5th working day is tomorrow and I don'h hold much hope for this to clear tomorrow...Has anyone else ever had this before? I've been told this is "Normal"...
