    Open another account with your current provider (lloyds). That way you will likely not have to prove ID or setup new online credentials. Ignore the high interest ones as you will be closing it anyway. Decline any optional overdraft to minimise credit searches. Set up any direct debits if they are needed for the switching offer. Switch. Continue to use your old main account.
