    Fourth Anniversary
    Tsb is still on LBG IT and other systems, but data isn't visible. They are being bought by sabadel, who presumably will move them to their systems over time.

    Sabadell have already reported that the transition for TSB from LBG IT systems is some way off towards the back end of 2017. Also it's going to cost them more than they expected at the time of the purchase. The point is that TSB seems to utilise not only LBG infrastructure including risk profiling that appears to be similar even identical to LBG. If you have an account with TSB and LBG (Halifax/Lloyds/BoS) do a soft search loan quote and look at the identical result!

    They aren't being bought, they have already been bought. TSB is now a subsidiary of Sabadell.

    Thanks for all of the reply guys. Much appreciated.
    ML = Money Laundering?

    Thats what I first thought, but if they were suspecting that, surely they would close the account instantly rather than allowing me to use it for another 7 weeks ?

    Are you by any chance using it as a business account?

    This may be valid. I am not using it to run a business, but in October 15 I became self employed. Still doing work for the same company but it was more beneficial for me to do it self-employed rather than as an employee. The only money going into the account is weekly amounts from the same company as when I was employed.

    can i ask do you have other current accounts and move money between them?

    I have a savings account with them which I transfer £75 a week into from my current account. Thats it though.

    Maybe they just aren't making enough money off you.

    Well their loss. If paying £2k a month into the account isn't enough for them, then god knows what is

    In view of all the speculation in this, and other threads, it would be interesting to the hear the result of any application you might make to LBG:cool:
