Local Authorities will invaraiably cancel, see MC2, PPC should follow such practice. 2

They are taking the lead from their CEO and ignoring me.
Be patient, or forward their own acknowledgement back and say you are disappointed not to have heard about your complaint yet.
You will obviously have to add to the email the PCN number and gist of your complaint and your name again (because the acknowledgement is generic with no such identifiers).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I was patient, waited 4 days before replying to their acknowledgement.
Tried again a few days later.
Have ended up with 3 complaint ID's.
Looks like I will have to pay up as I tried to contact the mobile number of the recovery man.
Mobile never answered, sent text message, no responce.
Telephoned the garage that gave me his number, they gave me an alternative number.
Tried that same result as the original number.0 -

no it doesnt
you will have to pay up if a judge ordered it so after a court case, meaning PE have to prove their case and all you do is tell the truth , that the car had broken down and was recovered, you would also ask the garage that provided the mobile number for a witness statement of truth, plus you would print the mobile phone call records too
a judge threw a case out at JLA in Liverpool because the vehicle had broken down, so you would site that case and any others as well
lose the guilt complex !!
in the meantime you wait for a popla code or a cancellation by PE because that is the stage you are at0 -

What leads you to conclude that? Where has anyone advised that?I received a Parking Charge Notice from ParkingEye on the 29th February 2016.
I immediately sent a letter, same day, to appeal as I had a flat battery.
I heard nothing from them by the 6th March so I completed the web form on their web site explaining the situation and attaching my mobile phone record showing calls to garages and a recovery firm.
Nothing heard by the 8th March so I completed a second web form asking why.
It is now the 9th March and I still have had no response from them.
What made you expect such an early response and panic? You waited just DAYS yet a parking firm has (around, more or less...) 35 days to consider an appeal, under the BPA CoP. You should be sitting tight and awaiting a rejection letter or cancellation of the charge. This is a normal stage where it goes quiet for a few weeks.
You are ONLY at first appeal stage and PE have 35 days to reply to that appeal and you aren't even past that yet, not even gone to POPLA yet!!
Calm down.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Well some good news, maybe, received an email from Morrisons Customer Services wanting full details.
ParkingEye would not accept my mobile phone record showing the garages called and the recovery firm that jump started my car as proof that my car would not start.0 -
if PE wont accept the "excuse" then PE should have provided a popla code instead
if they have done so, check its expiry date over on parking cowboys
if they havent done so as yet , then you are in limbo waiting for the popla code
and yes give full details to Morrissons, but do not identify the driver of the car if you can avoid it, this is the last thing you need at this time (you dont want the drivers details to be provided , at all, to anyone , not unless you have already told PE you were the driver, in which case it doesnt matter now if they already inadvertently know , but it may matter in the future)0 -
Interesting, after a very snotty email to Morrisons Customer Services I have received two emails in as many hours.
My case has been handed to their Car Park Specialist Paul Thorpe who, they say, will get back to me next week..
If Paul has his own email address I will publish it so everyone who has a problem with Morrisons will know who to contact.0 -

Interesting indeed, wonder if he works for Morrisons ?
It will be interesting to see if he has the knowledge and if he is on the side of a Morrisons customer or the PPC,
it will not be difficult to tell0 -
Received email from Paul Thorpe, works in Morrisons Customer Services.
He has instructed ParkingEye to cancel the PCN.
Finally a letter from one of David Potts lackeys, bit late Paul had already taken care of it.
Will be boycotting all companies that use these cowboys.
Thank you all for your advice.0
