Should I be worried if wifes credit file isn't found by Noddle or ClearScore?

Got a joint mortgage application coming up soon, I have a decent credit file and the existing mortgage in my name.
My wife however has had zero credit products (really, nothing at all) but IS on the electoral roll, (we get letters to vote and occasional letter checking household details are correct etc.)... but when signing up to both ClearScore and Noddle they find no details.
Should we be worried by this? Panicked by them not showing anything.

It probably just means she's lied to you about her true identity and is on the run from the Feds, or is in a Witness Protection scheme.
But on the off chance it's just an admin glitch, raise the issue with Clearscore and Noddle. Also check Experian.0 -

We called our council and she IS on the register, at this address for 5 years, which is correct.
So it possibly is just that they need a little more credit details, of which there are none.
Will try Experian and call them all if there is nothing there.0 -
Does your wife have a bank account?
Mobile phone contract?
Ever used any catalogue accounts such as Littlewoods etc?I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards. I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly, and I can move and merge threads there. Any views are mine and not the official line of moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Bank Account yes, Yorkshire Bank but probably had it since a kid... no overdraft
Mobile phone (hers in my name) / Catalogue nope.0 -
Did you provide all addresses lived in for the minimum number of years those credit report products require?0

Good point, we been at this house for 5 years, so they didn't ask for old addresses, BUT her bank is at her mums home address still...0

Her Yorkshire account should show on her files.
Have you also paid £2 for a copy of her Experian report?
I wonder if she has a credit file but perhaps they haven't linked it/updated it to her married name and all her history is under her maiden name?
Does seem odd that if she is on the ER that she is not being found by CS and also Noddle.I'm a Board Guide on the Credit Cards, Loans, Credit Files & Ratings boards. We are sticking to her maiden name on all searches, she hasn't officially changed her name on any documents yet.
We have done an Experian 30 day trial but have to wait for the code in the post. Grr!0 -
I think the bank being at the old address may be the main problem, she will probably not have been on the ER when at her mums so I assume the addresses are not linked either, can we ask that during the application that her old address is also searched?0
