WARNING Virgin Charging for Free Calls
Comments

I can only go by what they said, and there solution worked.
When I spoke to them, it was though they already know the problem existed and was working on a tech solution.
But altering the format of the number was a interim solution and it appears to have worked0 -

Glad that worked for you, but this is random and always with the same number, she calls this number numerous times throughout the month but we only get charged for 1 or 2 of the calls at the premium rate and not all of them.
My argument with them is that they should have resolved the problem by now, as I reported it 3 months ago at least and also they did not refund me the first time, why should I have to chase them.
As I said above how many other customers are unaware of this issue as they don't query an extra 15 or 30 pence on the monthly bill, it all soon starts adding up to a lot of money0 -
Well another month gone by and another sum of money taken from me without justification (I could say stolen as that is what it is)
Spent another 50 min on the phone to Virgin customer services, only to be told yet again "They are trying to fix the problem, which they have known about since late last year (Their words not mine) they are now blaming EE as it is their end, no fix date in sight, I am just told keep checking your bill and phone us"
What the hell am i paying them for, if it was not for the Tariff that I have with them (2) I would dump both mobile contracts and all of their Media (TV, Phone & Broadband)
This is supposedly happening to a lot of accounts now, how many people are aware.
Can some one on here please advise me how I may escalate this further then Virgin to get it resolved0 -
You need to take this to Ofcom so they can look at the wider issue.0
