Creation credit card for travel - impressed!

  • I have used my new creation quite a lot when needing to get cash and purchases when we were abroad. On our last trip we saved over £50 in bank fees and got a good rate of exchange as well.
    Thank you for recommending it.

Yep another Everyday satisfied customer here..decent limit, they wrote to me with pre approval letter and card and pin arrived quickly..pin badged as Expedia as others have said. Only thing is you have to call them to confirm travel plans..Halifax lets you do this online.
Never argue with an idiot. Especially not this idiot because I'm always right anyway.

And if you don't, they seem to be very quick to block transactions - couldn't use it at all in Indonesia recently, I didn't bother calling them, as I never do, but shall in future.

I had a call (which I didn't answer) which googling the number appeared to be from them, so presumably they'd have sorted it. Strange thing is, I've never bothered calling them back, but have since used the card in the UK to purchase some flight tickets originating in Sweden (priced in SEK, so for the forex benefit), with no issue!

Weirdly, rather than just charging foreign transactions at the MasterCard rate with no fee, they charge a fee (or load the exchange rate), then immediately refund the difference as a separate transaction.
