TalkTalk list of callers?

We have TalkTalk phone and it has the bills online. I know where to find the itemised bills but can I see a list of who phoned our number? Is there a website where I can see who called or anything? -Karen

You need to have a phone which keeps a call log. Plenty of such things available. They rely on Calling Line Identification from your phone provider, and will keep a list of calls. The phone will also let you assign the callers' names to their numbers so the list says who called as well as their number.

I have a TrueCall box and can see all calls that have been made to the number. Plus I can block any unwanted numbers.

I have one of the cheap white call blockers sold on ebay etc. Mine was from the UK and rebadged but still the same box. Its brilliant.

I recommend to everyone that gets sales calls that they should get a call blocker.

No unwanted calls for many many months now.

Most call blockers block all unknown or all withheld callers, including calls that you may have wanted. Only the trueCall units (including BT8500) issue a challenge that gives wanted callers the chance to get through.

All reflected in the price (ebay callblocker under £20 v truecall £100)

Does the callblocker stop the phone from ringing in the first place and then only allows it after it challenges?

BT8500 only £35 at Currys. It's a brilliant system and has completely stopped all my nuisance calls.

Yes - the phone won't ring at all if a blocked number rings or someone from a blocked category rings (eg number withheld/overseas caller etc)

If you get the more sophisticated type of blocker then the caller from a blocked category gets a message asking them to say who they are etc, and if they respond your phone rings and you can listen to the reply before deciding to take the call or not.

In all cases you must have caller ID on your line
