Help transferring contacts from Nokia 635

So our old Nokia no longer charges the battery and we bought a Moto-e as a replacement. How can we get the contacts onto our new phone? Motorola says to download an app onto the old Nokia but it won't download.
So easy transfer please or how do we put the contacts from the Nokia phone onto the sim card?

People dont store contacts on sim anymore for obvious reasons. If phone allows it and you havent already done it you need to import contacts to gmail then when you log into google on new phone you contacts will be there

Why necessarily gmail? It's Nokia, not Android.
I think any email account can be used to synch contacts.

Another way is to export contacts to a file in the SD card, then import them to the new phone.

Sorry, I do not see anywhere I can save the contacts from the phone to the sim, how do I do it???
I can put contacts from the sim to the old phone but not the other way.
Plus I can put the contacts from the new phone onto the old phone using Bluetooth but not the other way!
Anyone know HOW i can do either of these?

This applies to Nokia C1-01 and Nokia 2730 Classic, yours shouldn't be too different.

Menu | Address Book (Contacts) | More, and then look for a setting to copy contacts.

    Move along, nothing to see.

Sure it is different as it's a Windows Mobile smartphone.

Who said 'sim' besides you? Even if it's possible to save a contact to the SIM, you don't want/need this as only limited details can be saved and the capacity is very small. You either save/export them to the SD card or synch with some online account.

Hi again, I have had a look at the links and I must be thick as none of them work for me to get the contacts from Nokia 635 to Moto-e!
Can anyone please give me instructions on how to do this?
As I have already said I can do it the other way which is what some of the links do.

    Google the following phrase:
transfer contacts from windows mobile to android

Follow the instructions from one of the many many search results.

Usually you would sync the contacts with your Google account on the Windows phone (Nokia) and then do the same on the Android phone (Moto).

Sorry Grumbler, total brain fade on my behalf. :)
    Just saw 'old Nokia'.:o
Also didn't realise 'old Nokia' applied to a phone 2yrs old.
My 'old Nokia' still going strong after 5+ yrs of use in construction industry.
    Move along, nothing to see.

Well, I am still no further along! It seems from the video in dipsomaniacs post I have to open an outlook account, I have done that and put it onto the Nokia but now a day later my contacts have still not migrated from the Nokia to the Outlook site! Exasperated or what!
I think I am going to have to do it all manually, what a pain!
By the way only ditching the Nokia as it no longer charges, I can charge the battery in a friends phone but that is not practical long term.
Just wish things were easier in the digital age!
    Any last minute fixes????????
