Powerful, reliable BB provider?

Advice please, been with Virgin Media for years, on their now 50mb deal. Need powerful broadband as I work from home for an IT company. However, been having big issues with VM, this weekend resulting in 0.3 mb speed! They have a known issue, fix not until June which is not acceptable for me but they said they cant do anything as cables need replacing and they are waiting on planning permission. So I need to find another provider but cant see who else provides this speed?

Pop your address into here https://www.btwholesale.com/adslchecker/ and post the results. Remove your address before posting. This will show what xDSL services from Openreach/wholesale are available.

So you can get FTTC from any provider that offers it using BT wholesale backhaul, which since you work for an IT company you will understand. The data above suggests that worst case you would get 35Mbps, but potentally as much as 70.

Also, since you work for an IT company you will understand the different SLAs you get on business services versus consumer services and why using a consumer grade service for working from home is a terrible idea.

I would suggest Zen or A&A. I use A&A and am happy to recommend them, but if you are into "deals", cashback, shopping vouchers, haggling every year and all the rest, they don't do any of that.
