Removing Felt tip from white t-shirt

Hi

My 5 year old returns from school every day with felt tip men marked all over him. I have never managed to shift it and now all his t-shirts looks ridiculous

I have tried everything - vanish, more vanish, high temp wash but nothing seems to get rid of it

Any tips on how to get rid of these before I console myself to buying new ones !!

Why is he using felt tips at school?
My 4 year olds class uses paints and crayons , felt tips are a scourge!
Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

I've used the alcohol hand gel before now to get felt tip out of some cloth seating at school.

Try those magic eraser sponges. They seem to get rid of anything.

    Bleach?

Maybe have a word with the other parents to see what they use as your son can't be the only one.

Failing that, cheapo t-shirts from A*da?

Edit to add: Maybe try posting this on the Oldstyle board, they're cleaning gurus
