I'm sure it is as the redesign was a really bad idea that is disliked by very many users . So many of my friends have left MSE completely because of it and have gone over to HUKD. So the less people you have, the less deals gets posted and then you get less people. It's a vicious circle.

In a lot of cases it is unusable and is very hard on the eyes. It is only bearable if you can still use the old version but how long they will allow that, who knows. When they eventually switch that old version off, as is inevitable, then the traffic on MSE will be even less than it is now.

It was the biggest mistake ever and has effectively killed off what was once a really good forum.

Totally agree - the new look site isn't easy to look at like the old one. I'm still able to access the old style but if the day comes when I MUST use the new one I don't think I'll be looking at it very much. MARTIN LEWIS take note - a lot of people aren't happy with the new look forum!

Thanks for your reply. I was wondering if it was just me not giving myself time to get used to the new version. I wish they had just left it as it was. Such a shame to ruin something and have people no longer interested, especially MSE as it's been such a fabulous site. I did wonder as I've noticed much less traffic on other threads also. I know we sometimes dislike change when we get used to something and we have to accept when things evolve but this is more difficult when something is made worse than it was.

Like yourself, I wonder how much longer we'll be allowed to use the older version. I can't quite understand why I sometimes get the new one and other times the old one......very strange. I hope it doesn't kill MSE as it's been so good. Unfortunately with the site being owned by someone else now, maybe they have decided on change. :(

EDIT: Thanks for the link to 'disliked by very many users' - just checked it out there and 409 Hate it against 9 who Love it. I think there is a massive message there to MSE Towers! Don't lose the people who have been using your website for many years!

Not sure there's much to discuss, it's the same stuff they couldn't shift last month! ;)

My local Outlet's got 60% off ladies thermals, there's all black, & grey bottoms & a grey & black patterned top. The prices are from £5.50-£7.50 per item.

Also got for Mr Duke some XXL white T-shirts, 3 for £3.99 a pack.

Back to the debate of this board - lots of people are looking at the posts as can be seen on this forum but few are ever thanked so maybe folk think it's useless posting the offers they find whether instore or online.

Difficult to tell how many unique users there are that are reading each section of the forum- Maybe a couple of hundred. The "views" count is unique views of the thread ( so adds one to the count if I look at the thread and it has changed since the last time I looked at it - which is why a thread with lots of posts has a lot more views than a thread with fewer posts) , NOT unique users

Hi Redfox. As a board monitor can you please make sure that MSE is aware of how awful we feel the new design is...you must have some form of contact and if the new layout continues I, AS SO MANY, will not be using the site as frequently

Sorry but any comments or thoughts about the new design need to be made on this thread or directed to the people who run the forum. Unfortunately I can't make representations regarding this as it beyond my remit.

Please can everybody now keep this thread on topic and take discussions or comments on the forum design to the board designed for feedback.
