Happy Birthday RR!
I have done probably half of K the ironing mountain. You know that determination to not allow it to build up again? Yes, quite.
OH had arranged for the car to go to garage for a bit of bodywork as someone clonked it from behind, not bad damage but damage all the same. We don't know who, it was at night and no note. So along came tge garage man with courtesy car and OH has sent him away again as it was an automatic and he has never driven one . Plan B, it will probably happen on Friday now. Need wheels this week to take DS for hospital appointmentJackieO, I am the same if I wake, that's it, I am up.I was jumping to conclusions and one of them jumped back0 -
Hoppy Birdday Redruby. Have a lovely day with little Evie.:o
It's the start of Mr LW's last week at work - I'm trying to resist counting down hours, as there's still a very strong probability that he won't leave work on time, even at this late stage. I hope he's not too late tonight, as we need to visit @ldi (nearly out of milk). Even if I felt able to leave the house alone, I don't have the means to get there by myself.
Dumpling I hope you can enjoy your outing today; I still can't go out by myself, but I'm ok if I have a dog with me.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Flooring men arrived at 9.45 and CCTV man at 9.50 - bit of early morning dodging around. Sent CCTV through the barn with his equipment.
I now have a proper floor in the hall and so feel really good about it, the hall is now part of the home rather than part of a building site.
CCTV is up and running so I can properly record the back garden goings-on with squirrels and sparrow hawks and birds, some a good mix and others not so. I'm really pleased about that too.
And I've got my not-so-smalls hanging outside on the line for the first time in months. The wind is rather nippy but the sun is shining as hard as it can in early March so the knicks may at least get half dry and have the 'outside' smell.
Now I'm having my first meal of the day and a quick catch up here. It's good to read of everyone's day.0 -
Bed linen dried on the line, hooray.........just needs ironing.0

Happy Birthday redrubyI hope you get lotsof spoiling
Candlelight and Dumpling well done to you both as it is hard to shift once its on there ,but sooo worth it once its gone.I am slowly getting smaller and consequently I have a bag of clothes that no longer fit and as soon as the bag is full its going to a CS out of the way
I have two nice winter coats that are going in there as soon as the winter has finished:) and I shall be buying new smaller stuff come the autumn Its a way of making sure I can't slip backing my old careless ways
:):)
Both my Dds are doing the same, and the youngest DD is doing very well as her weight has crept up over the years from being a skinny size 10 to an 18,but she has had five children in 10 years so he body has had a lot of wear and tear bless her.I am so proud of how she has stuck to her diet and is determined to get rid of the excess.
My eldest Dd has about a stone and a bit to lose although she is a very busy lady she is stuck at a desk for most of her working day in a school and the dinner ladies have been feeding her up a bit too much:):).
As I said to the pair of them it didn't go on in five minutes, you must have patience in getting it off:):)
(doesn't help DGS danny taking me out for meal last saturday, but he was so keen to treat me I didn't have the heart to sit and eat a lettuce leaf:):)

Topy so glad to hear the appeal was successful xx
Have good evenings all xx0 -
Good evening everyone,
:bdaycake: Happy Birthday redruby, I hope you have a wonderful day.
Well done to everyone on their weightloss. I must get myself into the frame of mind to lose some weight, and hopefully we can restart the gym soon.
Its been quite sunny but cold here today. I went to work and we had a good day.
DD went on a school trip to Canterbury and I think she enjoyed it as she hasn't been before. Her teacher treated the girls to lunch as he lost their mock exam papers, so they didn't get marked and he felt bad:eek:
DS has gone off to see his GF but he did spend all day with me yesterday which was lovely. He will probably be back later on.
I made homity pie for dinner served with carrots and broccoli, have saved some for DS.:D
I have washed the bedding and hung it up indoors and must have a tidy up and sweep the kitchen floor.
Have a good evening everyone.SPC 11 #4450 -
