    If I can't find a man I'll look into a dog! :D

In all seriousness, am hoping to get a dog this year (and more cats). Need to get my May cruise out the way first, then will look into it. :)

Not just conversation I'm after bubbs!!! :D:D:rotfl::rotfl:

I think I'll start an agency called Elite Husband Hire.

I mean we can get house sitters, pet sitters, cleaners, decorators, gardeners and mechanics, all through agencies in YP or online. So why not ?

Minimum 48 hour hire. Security clearance etc essential. Interview panel made up of all Elite singletons. :D:D:D

Make a jolly good sitcom though. :rotfl:

We love "artistic" food. DH had some mini banana fritters for dessert on holiday one evening and they were served in a little wire basket like you would deep fry chips etc in. Very cute.

Evening all, just had eldest child on the phone, I think even she is now exasperated by how much the wedding is costing.

They have to have an interview and a lot of paperwork filled in to validate their identity etc - not heard of this before. This is something to do with making sure they are uk citizens and not already married etc and fortunately they can have it done local to them but this going to cost £75!

Then to get the cellibant to come out is going to cost over £500  I don't know why we had about £200 figure from but that was way out.

The worst bit is the evening entertainment and DJ - they all seem to have a local agent who adds on another 20%. Even though they only do short stints with the iPod in the middle they are all charging over a thousand - the last quote she got wanted £1200
    - its a pity neither side have any Scottish connections, I think a ceilidh band would be a cheaper option
    Then there is the dress
The only thing that seems to be coming in slightly under budget seems to be rings and even that is

She is sending me her spread sheet tommorow although I don't know what I am supposed to do with it apart from fall over with shock. Anything I can suggest won't make much difference to the figures, I don't think she has taken up any of the things I've suggested anyway

    Deep sigh :)
