Good question LEJC. I don't tend to get too much of anything edible because if it is there DH will eat/drink it whereas I have more discipline (except when it comes to chocolate) and just think of it as a well stocked cupboard.
We do have "adequate" supplies of dishwasher tablets, washing tablets, handwash, toilet rolls, shower gel, shampoo, deodorant etc but all these things are in quantities that can be kept inside the house and are not visible, so not cluttering the place up. Only toilet rolls are in the loft, where I like to think they serve a secondary purpose providing extra insulation :D I only have three easter eggs, one of which will be given to someone else on Monday, as I probably could not be trusted with more :o

id say no to that if honest ,i drink a lot of coke far 2 much and im not drinking more because its here ..but i am offering it out easier than if i was paying full price ,i generally end up giving mine to family and friend when they visit ,its a nice feeling to be able to do that at times x

coke is one of those strange things for us..where we can take or leave it.
if its around we drink it but can so easily not bother to buy it and wouldn't miss it.
I remember a few years back when DS had his brace it was a banned substance in the house...prior to the brace we never bothered much but as soon as it was fitted it seemed he craved it....now the brace has gone we are back to the if its there it will get drunk...if its not its no great shakes!

It does, although DD hasn't quite got the same funds as DS so don't think she would actually be able to run a car at the moment without picking up a bit more work. DS gets PIP, so between that and his wages he can afford to run a car fairly easily.

She's only had 6 hours of practical lessons so far. Although her instructor did say to her today via text that she should book her practical, but I think thats because its a 3 month wait minimum, as she needs a lot more driving time yet!

I'm good thanks, bit tired after dealing with emotional daughter plus work (been training yesterday and today, new system and the learning has literally broken my brain I think, am worn out!). How are you doing? Saw a car like yours in asda the other night and it made me think of you! :rotfl:

altojack, glad your appointment went well, hope your date comes through soon. :)

Yes, book as soon as you can as its often four months and you can change the test appointment up to four times......the number on the theory certificate is live within about three hours, you just use that to browse what is available and exit out before payment hth xxxx

I think its time for me to be off and cook tea/dinner dependant on which side of the north/south you are...I've excelled myself with a chicken pasta bake tonight.

    Thanks for the company today...

A lucozade stash..I love the thought of that...probably because I'm one of those kids who were bought up to think that it was something you only had when you were ill because it used to be sold in the chemist and had that orange plastic shiny wrapper around it

Yes and the gold foil top ... I like you remember that we only got it when we were ill and once upon a time it was only sold in chemists ...But my addiction to Lucozade has been about 39 years for breakfast dinner tea and supper
And I have very fond memories of my mother giving each of us children a foil top cap full ....she was always trying to hide her stash away from us too . Little did we know then she needed it more than we liked it her hair had dropped out and she had cancer though as young children this all goes over your head but when you look back it is a mothers love for her kids and there were 7 of us so not a lot left for her and she wasn't eating it was the Lucozade feeding her ...bless
I would have liked to have got to know her better or longer if you see what I mean :A

lots of my stashes have gone or are dwindling too tweets...I actually bought fabric conditioner for the first time in 3 years last weekend...although there is probably enough washing bits to get me mostly through the year.

I got 8 or so bottles of shampoo last week too simply because we were down to the last bottle but overall I now seem to just get a few of something rather than overdoing it....

the exception still being Twine mystery cases and anything thats a product test....I cant seem to reduce the makeup/body polish/night cream day cream etc to less than 2 suitcases full before I'm signing up for something else.

My washing liquid is only £1 in Tesco and works just as good as the dear stuff. No point me rushing for stuff to store like toilet roll I looked in Mr T for the 9 pack Andrex about 6 times went before work but everytime scanned at dear price :( And wasn't running to A's in rain today to be disappointed lol.

I love testing things and like doing surveys for my love to shop or Amazon vouchers. :T

Thanks for the replies re pickup Mocs everyone.

Aww good LS, the thought of the freedom of being able to drive soon will distract her a little. Exciting times ahead being able to go anywhere, anytime :).

I'm good thanks. Finished work until Weds. Got dd visiting tomorow and little shopping trip planned. A walk in the Yorkshire Dales planned for Monday. Have a lovely Easter. Hope Dd feels a bit better after a visit from the Easter bunny & lots & lots of chocolate xx

That sounds like a lovely weekend cjj. Enjoy yourself! :)
