    Totally agree with you.

I think at all airports, security could be improved by the x-ray of luggage/scanning of people on entry to any terminal buildings, before check-in. No-one should be exempt. All passengers, airport workers, security staff, etc should have to pass through. Some overseas airports already have this and have had for many years.

Whilst it wouldn’t stop the more determined it would be better than what we have now at some UK airports. Anyone can just wander into terminals before check-in; well they certainly can in Manchester. We went through Manchester a few weeks ago and I always feel more at ease when we get airside.

But wouldn't you then have queues outside the terminal buildings and then you wouldn't feel safe there either... just a thought.

Has anyone got one of those rattan garden sofas? Would you recommend them? Please and thank you

I'd quite like a corner one but I'm struggling to find one that will fit my budget:money: the thing I'm struggling with is most of the ones I've seen have normal cushions ie not shower resistant so would need to be stored away! My sheds already threatening to burst;) Mr Monkey doesn't like the idea, he says it will just be a home for bugs and spiders!! I'm trying to convince him but it's not happening:( Yorkshires not exactly the sunniest place in Britain either so I'd probably not get to use it much according to Mr M but....I d really like one :)

I looked at them for ages last summer and found that many were very small and low or very expensive.
In the end the summer passed and I thought it might have been for the best as there are lots on ebay that are one year old.
I also think they need to come in for the winter so unless you have a large conservatory with nothing in they may go mouldy. hth xx

May I ask how many people on here use the electric bread makers and

are they worth buying .. as I live alone bread is always being wasted

well given to the birds so its not really wasted

Perky, why dont you buy a loaf, then split it into 2/4 slice packs and freeze?

(I keep popping in briefly from RL... Hello everyone. Have not caught up but did spot this.)

You don't even need to do that. Pop a sliced loaf in the freezer (slice it yourself if it doesn't come pre-sliced) and it is very easy to remove just the slices you need. We eat very little bread and the freezer is our breadbin!

I don't get soggy bread for sandwiches either!

Thanks everyone, haven't quoted everyone but appreciate the comments. Think the majority can remember the pain of first love.

Oh bless her, that pain in her heart is real enough :(. She'll get over it it though in time X
She was telling me how she felt like her heart was breaking in two. Poor love;.:o
Oh no, hope you've got lots of tissues, chocolates and cuddles at the ready.

No concellation to her right now as wise words won't ease the heart ache but Mr Right is out there somewhere it's just a case of when and where the planets align and they meet :)

I did cuddles and tissues where she got in. Her Dad runs a jujitsu club so she has gone off with him to take her anger out I think. She knows I'm always here, and I'm sure we'll have lots of cuddles over the next few days.

As for Mr Right, hopefully she has better luck than me as I've been single 15 years, so not exactly a great role model for her where dating is concerned (although now feel like I would like to get back out but thats a whole other story).

It seems to work well in other airports I have passed through pippo. I am just surprised it has not been introduced by now over in the UK.

Have the Activia 4 Yoghurts really gone up to straight £1.98 or are they 2 for £3? M £1 if the M prices have been updated. Could do with someone scanning them instore in A to see what they really are. TIA.

Didn't scan them but at tea time today they were marked as £1.98 in store with no multi x
