Thanks Squigs for confirming the HE stuff was still working, i managed to get another 6 today.

Had another panic using my APG's though, apparently the store's SS tills cant accept them so was dragged off to customer services. Was bricking it as i wanted to use a £16 and £9 but the lady was really helpful and put them through without batting an eyelid :T

Another £13+ APG from the shop. I'm getting back into the swing of this :j

To be my usual pedantic self, I don't think it was still working. I think it may have stopped working yesterday (when no-one bought it, because we all knew:D) and, rather than now "still" working, has now returned to working.

I may return to this post, if I ever get time at all in the future, in the context of me spending £8 back from £8.:eek::rotfl: I think it's part of the shopping "experience".:o:cool:

Afternoon All. Awful news about Brussels - was only there in September and met some lovely people.

Used to work in Check in years ago in the 80s and we always maintained that security should be on entry to the Terminal buildings Arrival and Departures. In those days security was only done at the Departure Gate eventually it was changed to entry to Departue Lounge.

    Just hold those dear closer.

    Totally agree with you.

I think at all airports, security could be improved by the x-ray of luggage/scanning of people on entry to any terminal buildings, before check-in. No-one should be exempt. All passengers, airport workers, security staff, etc should have to pass through. Some overseas airports already have this and have had for many years.

Whilst it wouldn’t stop the more determined it would be better than what we have now at some UK airports. Anyone can just wander into terminals before check-in; well they certainly can in Manchester. We went through Manchester a few weeks ago and I always feel more at ease when we get airside.

    Email from T:

Forget the eggs this Easter and fill your long weekend – or someone else’s – with the best entertainment iTunes has to offer. The offer ends 27th March and is available on all iTunes Gift Cards. The following discounts apply:
10% off £15 iTunes Gift Card, now £13.50
15% off £25 iTunes Gift Card, now £21.25
    15% off £10 x 3 iTunes Multipack, now £25.50
15% off £50 iTunes Gift Card, now £42.50
20% off £100 iTunes Gift Card, now £80.00
    Best wishes from,

Really? T are contradicting themselves it seems to me! Surely they wanted people to buy Easter Eggs at £2 when they were promoting them, but now they claim to want us to forget about them?!?

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
It was me going mad :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Think i've been looking at too many garage doors, we need to get it sorted. We have decided to get a steel frame and a cheap door as it is in a separate block, we plan to look at the Ideal Home too.

Phew, had me worried for a while :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

We've looked at loads of garage doors too over the past 4 years but never managed to make that final decision. Silly thing is, is when you look at the door, they are all big, flat, not that different to a point:)

It was just the fact that my joints are getting worse, plus aches in some muscles dh mentioned these that we got. I'm well pleased with them :)

    You'll find yours soon I'm sure :)
There's no place like home :)

Feeling down? Weak in body? Makes no difference to me, I think of you all when I'm sitting quietly.

Hugs and healing thoughts are always going your way.

In all the Sadas I use APG's have to be manually approved on the SS tills. Wonder why some are different, don't they trust us :(

One other of mine definitely doesn't trust me. Even if you can scan them yourselves and make your exit, they want me to get them checked and signed off just like before. I have another store that they generally scan through on SS without approval, but occasionally it fails (on one or more vouchers).

I wonder whether my store where they are going through as "Manuf's coupon" has never been updated to the new system. Yet I seem to have vague recollection of scanning through myself (on SS) and getting "APG" on the receipts there at some point before - maybe it joined and went back again?!? Perhaps the store had disabled it and just wants all of them to be done as Manuf's coupon now. They don't scan your receipts, just the vouchers.

One of my Supermarkets worked for me at the outset. Then it returned to wanting approval for a few weeks. Now, for a longer period, it seems to be self-scan availability again.

Yesterday - at till in fact - the system (in a superstore) was absolutely fine with a couple of glitchy receipts. It was the APG for 80p that it didn't like:(:rotfl:. I have no idea why - I didn't buy anything that should not be bought with an APG, just all groceries (no formula milk or anything) - but it knocked off several pence short of the 80p on that voucher and the SA had to change it. Fine on high values, but the 80p it questions!:eek::rotfl:

Just checked my APG got Mars, Twirl and Marvelous Creations each compared to £3.33 in T's £3.00 in S's but £5.00 in M's fortunately I had pitched my shop against Sainsbobs.

So don't include the above with any HE. HTH

So no longer picking up M mbuy on the large eggs:(. Looks like we have had an update (in your country anyway) and are on their Monday data (unless it was that those three did not pick up mix and match for M last week - were people generally buying three the same or two of one and one of the other before? - the fewer that are mixed, certainly against M, the greater chance there is of things working it seems to me - it's possible that, say, Mars and Twirl could work with something else and that Creations might work if one or two others, that you did not buy, were bought - so could explain a successful six-different large eggs comp. vs M over the weekend, even if it involved all of those three. However, it seems more likely the price update for M has been done). Separately I hope Creme Eggs still pick up M's mbuy on that; but as everything is dicey, perhaps be sticking with alternative comps. until someone can confirm that vs M on those is still working (from shops done tonight). I do hope HE 400mls still work.

You should pitch your large eggs against S anyway, not T or M, since vs T or M (the last of which may no longer work) works out worse than the old invisible trigger vs T from several weeks ago.:):rotfl: (Not a lot worse, I assume vs T only now, but nonetheless slightly worse, technically.)
