poor Treacle , he has had a relaxing basket day apart from a trip to the litter tray and then he cuddled up with his dad who was trying to fix the computer - only to be bundled up and put in the cat carrier - such a placid calm cat, nothing phases him, he makes no complaints about the box and even purrs to himself

Oh bless. He sounds lovely. My cat hated the pet carrier. I mastered the art of catching her though, she had a fur blanket in her bed and I had to pop it over her back wrap it under her body catching her paws and swiftly push her into the carrier before any of her paws got free else she would spread them out making it impossible. Thing was when we got to the vets they're have to tip her out but she'd happily climb back in ready for home after a visit. I do miss her :A its just gone 3 years since we lost her:( The monkeys keep asking for a pet but I keep saying no...

Oh no, hope you've got lots of tissues, chocolates and cuddles at the ready.
