Oops, didn't realise there was a Quidco one. The TCB one would definitely make you dizzy.

Thanks for that - always useful to have a non-M comp. I'm just trying to think of some Sainsbobs items for people - Crackers 40p vs 40p I think - but you have £3.33... on the eggs?:( Not fair!

    Vs Sainsbobs

    Cream Crackers
SP Stuffing (have to be careful on SP items!)
    SP Cornflakes
    SP Peach Slices
    SP Grapefruit tin

And others I'll think of in a while.

Definitely not SP Rice Pudding - 15p vs 30p S! (Reluctant to post this as don't want people remembering items to avoid and then buying them in error!) Toilet Cleaner is also a bit of a no-no, along with probably the vast majority of SP items other than the four above. SP frozen Mixed Veg. is alright vs S - but why would you get that given 29p fresh veg.? Reminds me - SP (frozen) Cauliflower equivalent has gone down a few pence in M, so wait on that now too!

When I saw they had bought 15 eggs I started to hatch a plan ;) as to how I was going to spend the womble but the result, whilst good, wasn't a corker.

  • This was my shop on the eggs and I got an apg for £8:92... Total cost of this shop was £5:91 although I used another apg to pay...so Sada paid me to take it away..nice

Based on comparable items... Tesco Sainsbury's Morrisons Waitrose
The cost of your shop at Asda was: £21.03 £20.92 £21.03 £20.72
The competitor cost would have been: £14.90 £13.34 £19.46 £16.16
    To be 10% cheaper Asda needed to be: £13.41 £12.00 £17.51 £14.54
Compared to the 10% cheaper price £7.62 more
    £8.92 more
    £3.52 more £6.18 more
    Asda was... Not 10% cheaper
    Not 10% cheaper
Not 10% cheaper Not 10% cheaper
    How was this worked out?

Thanks for the egg shops. Quick question if someone could help, are you using triggers to get it to show full price? Can't work it out. Thanks

Visible triggers - just copy one of the successful shops to avoid any errors. Be careful that these could end at any point.
