S are so variable with coupons - I remember the cidre fiasco I had where they spotted the overage during scanning, zeroed all the coupons off, and painstakingly got out pencil and paper and worked out exactly what to deduct... much to the dismay of the people behind me at the till...

  • I also failed to get the pick ups in S due to the vouchers being refused as 'invalid' on the system.

The supervisor insisted that it was because the pickups are now on offer and you can't combine vouchers with things being on offer.

Have to see if i can make it to M's instead, but its a much longer journey, and will be frustrating if they reject them there as well. Can anyone confirm that the vouchers are scanning at M?

I have all but stopped shopping in S because of the coupon policy that seems to be made up by whomever is accepting them.
I very much now cherry pick with them and now only use them when there is a real incentive to do so....

I've just been trying to sort out my Marks monthly saver which turned out to be a far more complicated job than I though and not helped by a blinding headache brought on by the tree chopping man from next door :)

Marks monthly savers run for 12 months and mine is due to mature at the start of April. In April I start again with a new monthly saver but the new ruling is that your current account has to have 2 direct debits. So far I'd set up one for a magazine subscription so I still needed to set up a 2nd.
My marks credit card bill has always been paid in full from the household nationwide account so I cancelled this and then rang marks to change it so it's now paid from my marks current.
    That was simple enough.
I then went back into my nationwide to cancel the original direct debit and alter the date and amount that was going across to my Marks monthly and this is where it got complicated.
For some inexplicable reason it would not accept the new date and kept telling me I could not set up a payment date more than 50 years in advance - !!!!!!!
I was going to ring Nationwide to see if they could do it over the phone when it dawned on me that instead of altering I should just be cancelling as the current monthly was maturing and the new one would have a new number - the headache was not helping.

So finally all done I checked the balances and realised that my excel chart was not correct. In setting up a new sheet earlier this month and transferring figures across one line had not been updated - the Marks monthly and actually I had £500 more :T

I used 14 across 3 transactions, no problem at all (COS has already paid out my £3.01 :money: just waiting for CS/TCB to confirm now)

Thanks testers and posters! A good team effort!

My two girls love these so think I'll get 12 across two shops.

Similar problem here, problems with MOCs plus problems with mycoupons points not going on. Earlier this month I bought 3 items for mycoupons but only one item validated :( They flatly refused to add the missing points on manually but now its past the 10 day marks I've got to email again - such a faff for 80 nectar points.
On PTS a few people have already emailed and been told there is a glitch on x product for mycoupons - so the glitch must be on thousands of items except for Yorkie muesli bars :) it will be interesting to see what flannel they tell me :)
And then people have been told they still have to wait until March 31st for their points - 2 or 3 weeks after purchase!

I think my shopping mojo is going down the pan again, a few useful freebies from COS I've missed and I am finding Shopotize is another faff.

You can tell my shopping mojo has vanished by the size of the credit card bill this month - less than £300 and of that if you take off birthday presents and the hairdressers I actually only spend on everyday shopping about £150 in February

    Every cloud and all that....

I have to admit that I now am really sticking to a shopping list and shopping much less...although the down side is that meals have slipped into too much of routine for my liking because I seem to be just picking the same basics each week.

...although tonight we do have a change...I've made a stew!
