I only just noticed that you can get 7 packs of Pick Ups free in M using cb and the MOCs. :money:

They are £1 each in M until 17/4, so 50p after MOC but you can claim 50p cb 3 times on COS, 3 times on CS and once on TCB

I've given up trying to catch up. what a long day it's been for me

PD I'm totally jealous of your Savoy meal. It looks lush.

Quoia...I so wanted to reply properly to your post but I'm fighting sleep.
What you are saying makes so much sense but how can we protect those young people who have never acquired road sense or spacial awareness. I think it's one of the hardest things to do as a parent.....watching them drive off for the first time...knowing that they haven't really got a clue how to react in an emergency, drive in poor weather or resist the temptation to show off in a car full of their friends. I don't know what the answer is but I do know that we lose too many of our young people in crazy car accidents.

My bed calls. Can't even be bothered to disturb Mr TM:rotfl:

Well, my BM coupon from yesterday is safe in my purse.

And I'm very glad it is and that we don't have to claim these online. Just been to BM site to examine results - system says no record of shop re my receipt details. So I logged in via Nectar and sure enough my shop showed up.

However, I noticed that JS bacon and JS cheese is allocated to homeware so are JS eggs. Bemused by that, so I took the link to see exclusions etc., found nothing informative, then pressed back arrow to the BM page I was on.

But that has now inexplicably changed to something else - showing my last 3 shops as being at Melksham (never been there) Truro (ditto) and Rhyl (last went there in 1980) and one of these shops was in January at 4am  with a spend of £89  and a BM of 27p....

So I tried to log out and it says 'uh oh, there seems to be a problem.'

Supermarket systems, eh? Don't you just love 'em? :rotfl:
Sainsbury's Brand Match only applies to branded products, that will be why your JS items did not compare with ASDA. If you do find any branded products not comparing when they ought to, contact them. I just received a £5 gift card as a gesture of goodwill because Beechams cold and flu capsules failed to compare - they were 50p in ASDA, £3.50 in Sainsbury's.

Hope it's OK to share this. I issue food bank vouchers to teenagers & families in need and make regular contributions to our local bank of toiletries & food. It just hadn't occurred to me that san-pro was needed too. I've just read this from The Sun's facebook page...

"AFTER discovering that poor women were using socks and newspaper as feminine hygiene products, a foodbank has launched an urgent campaign."

Sending a plea to the glitch fairy for tampons & towels...

£1.50 coupon on SSM for tampax compax they are £2 in Asda at the moment.

If we all did 1 each it would really help :T:j:T
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it. :)

Swipe and Win at Homebase for next 5 days - needs loading to Nectar card beforehand and swipe card with purchase.

Worth splitting items into separate transactions, I assume.

    50 - 2000 points per win.

    How to get this offer

    1. Click 'Load to card' and shop in-store or online with Homebase
    2. Every customer will win between 50 and 2,000 points
    3. Your points will be awarded by April 1st, we will notify you via email once they're in your account
Did anybody else participate? We made small purchases with each of our nectar cards this evening and nothing shows on the receipts. So presumably we have to wait until 1st April to see whether we have won 25p worth of nectar points or, hopefully, more. We had loaded the offer to our nectar cards.

    Afternoon all.
The day seems to be flying by, and I haven't achieved much :o.
Mr Siamog went back to the vet yesterday for removal of 5 teeth. I was so worried he would not survive the anaesthetic as he had had sedation the day before, and he is fourteen now, which is old for a Siamese. However he did really well and the staff at the vets fell in love with him as he is so loving. He was even carried round inside one of the nurse's jumpers, cuddled up to her chest to keep warm. He is quite perky today and has eaten and drunk.
Off to fill in passport forms for us, and to countersign three for our neighbours.
Just found another pic of VT's Mr Ted, taken on our cruise, where he made friends with Mr Dog towel lian:D

Nice to see Mr Ted with his clothes on for a change:eek:

    Glad Simog is Ok.
