Greetings. I did a big (targeted against Morries) shop in Tesco earlier and can confirm that the Morries 2 for £20 offer on spirits was picked up and I got £8 back on price promise for them.

EDIT: Have deleted info on Yazoo smoothies as I managed to buy the wrong thing - that'll teach me to read the small print!!

    Hi All,

Not sure if anyone will be able to answer this one, the voucher for 30 extra CC points on Carnation products available from the Tesco magazine, has anyone used more that one in a transaction?? I wanted to stock up on condensed milk and caramel etc (I make lots of fudge) its on offer at 2 for £2 and with 30p in CC vouchers its cheaper than Lidl
    Thanks for the help x

I bought 3 cans, when they were less than £1 each x
Afternoon all  Complete non MSE day today, in fact it's the most expensive thing I've ever bought aside from a car

It's my mum's birthday today so I took her to The Savoy for lunch. I'm still dreaming about the food :rotfl:

    Borrowed from FB

“Doctor, I have this problem with gas, but it really doesn’t bother me too much. My farts never smell and are always silent. As a matter of fact, I’ve farted at least 20 times since I’ve been here in your office. You didn’t know I was farting because they don’t smell and are silent.”

The doctor says, “I see. Take these pills and come back to see me next week.”

The next week the lady comes back.

“Doctor,” she says, “I don’t know what you gave me, but now my farts – although still silent – stink terribly.”

The doctor says, “Good! Now that we’ve cleared up your sinuses, let’s work on your hearing.”

    lol

Hope it's OK to share this. I issue food bank vouchers to teenagers & families in need and make regular contributions to our local bank of toiletries & food. It just hadn't occurred to me that san-pro was needed too. I've just read this from The Sun's facebook page...

"AFTER discovering that poor women were using socks and newspaper as feminine hygiene products, a foodbank has launched an urgent campaign."

Sending a plea to the glitch fairy for tampons & towels...

On the side, roasties, cauliflower cheese and cabbage. And no I didn't nick the cutlery :rotfl:

Pippo, it was bloody expensive, but in the end it balances out. I think being thrifty in some areas allows for the very occasional extravagance! I am still thinking about the food :rotfl:
