Don't bother with the glitches as much now as I was wasting too much stuff.
I know what you mean CoT....waste of any kind isn't good:o
I think when you are new to the way we shop the excitement overtakes you but as you get a bit more "mature" you learn to pace yourself.
I still wouldn't hesitate to overbuy on tinned stuff and non perishables though.
Right I'm back outside in the sun to do the borders.

I agree too, have gifted a few pies and those lovely fishcaskes are going fast..
I prefer to just get enough for me and my nearest and dearest otherwise it will add to the overflowing freezers, cupboards that we all seem to have ...must go cut the grass, hope the weather is kind for the wedding x0 -
What a lovely day, and a new start for a few. Hope the wedding and the move go okay.
99p, dont listen to C of T, :rotfl: you will have a wonderful relaxing time, just go with no pre-conceived perceptions, and it will be fabulous, oh, and dont forget to pack your frock.
When you have booked, let us know what ship you are on and I am sure there will be some tips we can give you. Sorry I cant help with the hotel, but I have only stopped over night once, as prefer the gamble of going down on the morning (hey, its only a 6 hour trip, what could possibly go wrong?)

Hiya zippy. Just come out of W. Picked up some of my pyo 20% off and used the 10% card I got through the post. According to sa they are very rare, and we are lucky to get them:D
RANT ALERT:rotfl:
I have been on the receiving end of a coffee rage incident in W.:eek:I was in a queue of about 6 people, the coffee machine was playing up, so a long wait. Someone from cs came to fill it up and by then I was at the head of the queue with my trolley. She moved my trolley sideways to gain access to be able to open the cupboard door. This meant very little space for anyone to pass. Some cheeky bleedin woman further back in the queue came forward and shoved my trolley hard, and said 'if you move back people can pass' There was nowhere to move back to, as my back was against the cs desk, with the trolley pulled tight again my stomach. It was very painful, so she got a mouthful from me, with agreeing comments from the lady beside me of ' how rude, are you alright dear?'
I've been told that Waitrose had 'a better class of customer', but it appears not:eek:
Off to A now.

Calling all cruisers, having never done a cruise myself before I have decided me and mrs99p are definitely going on one this year. I have chosen a P & O cruise from and returning to Southampton. I'm thinking we will get an inside cabin because the cost for a balcony seems crazy.
Can anyone give me any advice on where is a good cheap place to stay for one night in Southampton ?
Can anyone give me any cruise advice or top tips ?
TIA
Pm DM, he does cruises from Southampton. Hth:D

You've got yourself out there with your new job, meeting people in an unfamiliar surrounding at first. Count this as a bad day, we all have them over the stupidest of things and are all prone to mini meltdowns from time to time. Think positive Your next visit will be better and if you feel you can't go you won't spend any money
