my husband is self employed. For the last few years he's been in debt that's why I start paying for the mortgage and the bills. I manage just about paying those from my part time salary and benefits. Things start go downhill in December 2015. He starts travelling for 2 weeks every month for business opportunity. But I found out on his fb he took a holiday picture on the date he supposed to be on his business trip, in another country! Last month he took another 2 weeks trip and when I checked the flight number etc, it doesn't exist!! when I confront him about it he just said I don't know, why don't you believe me. After I found out about his overseas trip I decided I don't want to be together anymore. How can I trust him ever again? To makes matter worse, I found some woman's pictures (not !!!!!!) in his laptop. He might been seeing her all this time. I'm actually having a nervous breakdown right now. I don't know what to do.....

It does sound likely that he may be seeing someone else \ the woman on his laptop, but you do need to start making real plans for the future.

that's what I've been trying to do. But with him staying in the house until he can afford to move etc doesn't really help. That's why I feel he's using me. I pay the bills so we can have a roof etc but he might be using his money he said he doesn't have for himself and possibly his lover instead of our son and I. We don't know how long he's going to stay, weeks, months, years?

You cannot continue to live like this. Have you confronted him about the photos and the holiday?

    Hi,

    I need some advice please.

I'm getting a divorce, but my soon to be ex won't leave the house as he can't afford to move a the moment. How can I kick him out?

The house and mortgage is in our name. I've been paying the mortgage and household bills for the last 3 years. We bought the house 6 years ago. I don't want to sell the house as I have a 6 years disabled son and I won't be able to get another mortgage due to my earning now (I only work part time). He did contribute something to the house in the beginning (deposit & part of the mortgage in the first 3 years). All the household bills are in his name, but as I mentioned I've been paying it for the last 3 years, it come out from my account. I guess I have no problems changing it?

I know I should contact a solicitor but I can't really afford it. Is there any other option?

    Thanks in advance.

    San
Have you actually started divorce proceedings?

In your first post you say 'I'm getting a divorce' but your latest post says things deteriorated between you and your husband pretty recently.

Regardless of what he's done (or not done) you cannot - given your explanation of your joint financial situation - just kick him out of the house you both own.

You really do need proper legal advice.

I think you need to visit a solicitor and both you and your husband need mediation to try and work out how you can both move forward.

Its five weeks or so since you first posted about divorce, have you made any progress at all in this time. Have you spoken to your husband, confronted him about the pictures etc?
