Withdrawing from an ISA

Unfortunately i need to withdraw from my ISA cash saver:

1) I havent put any money in this tax year
2) I need to withdraw £1,500
3) Can I still put in £3,000k towards the back end of the year or will be only allowed to put £1500 in

Not sure how this works and the penalties - hopefully someone can help!

Cheers,

Albert

As you have not used your mini cash ISA allowance for this year you can:
Withdraw as much as you wish from the existing funds in your ISA, provided your ISA allows withdrawals.
You can still deposit up to £3,000 in your mini cash ISA this tax year (by April 5 2006). Withdrawing funds that were deposited in a previous tax year will not prevent you from using your full cash ISA allowance for this tax year.
