We are all different and we could debate this all day and everyday is it not time to just all help each other whatever we have or have not got. All our lives change anyway from time-to-time meaning some times we are poor and sometimes we are not (was going to say rich but that would be pushing it!)

When things are written on here people do not always interpret things the same. How many times have you said something to a friend or relative and you later find out they took it the wrong way - its all down to interpretation - which is harder when your behind a screen than it is in the flesh.

So lets think twice perhaps when we see something that infuriates us. We cannot all agree otherwise as I said before we would all be clones.

Have a great day everyone and happy moneysaving.

I have hesitated to comment on this thread as I am sure I am one of the guilty chattering ones who wander from the point. I do that in conversation, face to face, on the phone, in real life and I am not going to be any different in a chat forum I'm afraid:o . If my meanderings are inappropriate/non-sensical/whimscal/hormonal please either slap me down at the point of origin a-la Pal style:rolleyes: or ignore me. I have pleanty of voices in my head that I can talk to instead:eek:

But back to the point, I hate to say it but I lost the plot somewhere around page 2 of this thread & had to go back to the beginning to see what I was supposed to be reading about anyway, maybe I have a short concentration span?? (I'm fighting the impulse to stay on track here & not tell you what my English Teacher used to say about me....) But I haven't noticed any threads being locked or deleated because of inappropriate content or itchy, scratchy irritable dialogue? Have I missed something good? Was there a fight? Was there much blood? Because even if there was, quite honestly is this a problem? Can't those who don't want to get involved just leave that thread alone or comment on the facts & leave the opinions to the opinionated? I believe we all benefit from each others support in whatever way it is delivered, it's OK to disagree & be different as long as it isn't unpleasent & I really can't see that it has been?

    Cheers

As I have said before in another thread- at times it really is not easy to make yourself understood in just a few quickly typed words but I am quite sure that we have all been taken the wrong way at some time in our lives! Please can we all just forgive and forget!

Let's get back to the good ol' friendly Moneysaving Old Style - a site that I have rapidly, like most on here :), become addicted to for it's great friendly and supportive moneysaving advice.

Now that I've put in my tuppence ha'penny worth I'm off to find some yummy ice cream recipes!

Come on we all know which thread we are referring to.

Shame the original idea has been eclipsed. Do you know that its the first year my son has been able to have a 'proper' party because the fear (danger) for all of us of his father turning up has abated.

I never said i was better than anyone people just got me totally wrong, and im staying away from the board for a while so that people can just get on with it, because now i feel like if i even so much as tell someone how to improve their cakes i will be shot down in flames for being 'self important', an attribute some people have projected on to me. Thing is people had implied they felt like that about me for a while anyway. Thanks.

People can express their opinions, some of us that is.

I will keep up with the BG work on the boards I BG on, as for contributing, ???

Its a shame people have made you feel like that Sarah but you are bigger than that.

Sarah I love to read your posts, finding out how you are coping with a young family on a small budget gives me inspiration for doing better and trying harder. I also love to hear about how you are getting on with your chickens or about how to make soap and laundry gloop! :).

So I too am asking you to get yourself back here asap! You will be missed!

I know of at least two threads that posters in this thread could be referring to  I don't think it is just your one.

I love your posts - please don't leave us - we need you!

I miss going on here for two days and miss everything!

What posts were closed - who is sniping - what happened - I am confused now and worried that I will now offend someone.

This has always been the nicest part of a great site - please let us all move on and enjoy ourselves.
