  • I believe one should go for refurbished phones for the following reasons.

    1. They are affordable branded phones at a reasonable cost
    2. Comes with warranty
    3. Finished as new

Buying a contract phone or expensive phone, however, is useless these days as phones are increasingly sensitive and keeps getting new feature. So a high end phone (on contract) or (off contract) comes at an amazingly expensive cost of £500 - £600+.

In contrast, there are companies offering you the same high end phones with warranty and all accessories for something as low as £150 - £200.

I recently bought an iPhone 5s Unlocked from Excellular Mobile London Limited (excellular.co.uk) I think its great value for money and works great for me I hope this helps making your decision !

    Welcome to MSE.

I hate to sound like "that guy" but there are several issues and red flags with the site you've pointed out - so for the sake of the OP and anyone reading I thought it be wise to point this out.
    • Terms and Conditions not being updated to reflect The Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Terms and Conditions as they currently are do not reflect the customers actual rights.
    • The Facebook and Twitter buttons don't work on the site footer
    • The subscribe button on the newsletter returns a 404 error
    • The Terms and Conditions mention VAT being charged, yet there is no visible VAT number anywhere on the website which is against HMRC guidelines if the business is indeed VAT registered.
Now I may just be being picky but the above are basic things and not really something I'd expect a professional setup to get wrong.

There's also no actual customer reviews I can find for them anywhere on the web which would suggest they're not very well known.

I'll give you the benefit of the doubt here with you being a new member, but I'd suggest anyone thinking of buying from this site uses caution, I'm not saying they're a bunch of scammers but there's certainly some red flags and glaringly obvious issues that need to be addressed.

Hello, Thank you for going through such underlying details, which for the matter of fact does not put the company in the category of "red flags" since details are highly irrelevant to the customer services point of view. I was speaking out of my experience with the company I had, which off course was amazing. As far as 404's are concerned there are 6 such errors at moneysavingexperts on this very page (attached is the log) Oops Sorry can not attach the photo because photo button of the editor DOES NOT WORK!!!! , moreover MSE does not use HTTPS which clearly is exposing the users information.

But again I do not really care about these details since It is giving me a great experience.

    Thank you

First of all I would really like to appreciate your effort for doing such detailed research about our company. I would also like to explain you the points you raised. I hope it will help you understand the company.

Excellular Mobile London Ltd is a growing mobile start-up company based in London. We offer Refurbished Phones at very competitive price with warranty. Like any start-up company we are trying our best to provide excellent products and after sales services to our clients. At the same time we are trying to learn and grow in this market. I also noticed you have some confusion about the address details of the company. Like any ecommerce business we do not entertain walk-in customers to our premises. But still I would like to point out just for your kind information that our Operations Head office is at

    9 - 11 HIGH BEECH ROAD
    LOUGHTON

and the second address you found

    Angel House
    225 Marsh Wall
    London
    E14 9FW
    United Kingdom

    this is our warehouse.
