So while the article says c:\users\, the place to look will be
c:\windows.old\users\{yourname}\AppData\Local\Packages\microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\Indexed\LiveComm
Note also the trick in the article about using * to make the email details visible.
The files (.eml extension) are essentially text files, so if double clicking doesn't open them, you could open them from Notepad.0
