Blocking apps don't solve the problem as the person won't know unless you tell them.

What I've done in the past is -

(+44 followed by their number.............this number is no longer recognised on this phone)
Do it for whatever numbers they call from.

You can set up an automated text/call reply from various apps on Googleplay to the unwanted numbers.

Although I've used the automated replies in the past with some people I have found it best to stay friends with others as it avoids all the unpleasant dramas but I've done it on my terms.

Broke up with an ex a few minths ago. Was getting texts everyday and silent calls to my home and work too- at least one on each a day. Then came the suicide guilt trip when zi didnt reply.

I called the police, more out of concern than anything who gave him a verbal warning. This was 2 weeks ago. Not heard a peep since.

Woke up this morning to a text. Number is blocked so hes texted me off another number

    Should i call the police?
It sounds like you haven't heard anything except one text from him in the last 2 weeks - to me that's not harrassment or police-report worthy.

Ignore completely, but keep the text just in case your ex starts getting in touch more and it becomes harrassment.
Do you not know that a man is not dead while his name is still spoken?
