AS much as I think liquidator/administrator fees are a complete rip off, I think probably should be yes to them, as you want things to go ahead as fast as possible?

As you have found out, they go bust, usually taking all your money with them, I'm afraid it's unlikely you will see your money again, you will just become one of the companies creditors ironically.
Depends if they have any assets the receiver can liquidate to recover some of the losses, if not, then that's that unfortunately.
The early signs are that there are very few significant assets - office furniture mainly - it ain't going to divide by 500 clients to well after they have paid the Administrator's bill.0 -
For all those who have been hit by Compass as I have also , this is being blown wide open in the Daily Mail newspaper this week , Hopefully tomorrow but certainly this week.
One of the Directors of the Company is married to Amanda Solloway who is the Tory Derby North MP who sits on the Business Studies Committee for the House of Commons & has co-written a book how to run a business & build trust.
What a joke!!!
Given her role within politics , How can she say she had no dealings within her husbands company & knew nothing of the problems within. i am raising a petition in the Daily Mail asking for her resignation , Everyone involved & all family/friends etc please buy the paper this week & sign the enclosed petition to try & reign some misery & stress on their happy lives too.
Thanks0 -

I absolutely livid as am also a compass client and I doubt if I will ever see another penny of my money. I was with compass for 9 years and I aml devastated because I had about 8000 left behind with compass. Then I was also contacted by this Abbey Solicitors. Compass told me that the money they had put aside from my payments was going to be used to pay Abbey solicitors who was going to clear my debt in 12 months. They said if abbey solicitors did not clear up all of my debt they would use the money in my pot towards it but now Abbey solicitors wont talk about compass and this made me suspicious. When I spoke to them they just refused to give me any help or advice about compass by saying it had nothing to do with them yet they have all the information about all of my debts. I spoke to the same lady ever time I called and considering all of the people they are suppose to help she is the only person taking the calls and something did not seem right and I have not gone ahead with it.. I don't want to be another victim to a get rich quick scheme. They told me there was no money from compass to pay for there service. From what I can tell abbey and compass are all part of the same greedy business which helps themselves to the pockets of people who are vulnerable and are unsure which way to turn. They line there ppockets and then you are still left with the debt. Abbey wanted me to pay them £400 a mothn to look at my debts for 12 months and tell me if my debts could be written off. I was told by a barrister that I should steer clear of this and just divide this money up and pay my debts straight to my creditors and I am taking this advice. I hope other people on here in the same situation as myself will take this this advice.I hope this helps I wiil be attending any meeting about compass. The more of us that can come together will bring more attention to this situation0

No I was told it was sent to me before I even knew about it and they already had me on there syetem. I was told the abbey solcitors would be in touch with me about the forms for me to sign to help me manage my debts. Abbey solicitors told me how much I would have to pay. After I made my own enquiries I did not like what I heard and rang them again and told them I wasn't interested, could not get trhough to compass. I had a new address and I did not give it to abbey solicitors. I wish I had received the application now, I think It would help to look into it further.i only know that they were supposed to check to see if my debts could be written off and this was supposed to take 12 months. I felt I was just being passed on for someone else to get money out of me. People should not trust any recommendation coming from compass after what they have done to us0
