help; removed washn machine now no water

Help,
I am moving out and I got a removal man who disconnected and removed the washing machine this was last night, but about midday today all the taps in the house stopped running. I CALLED HIM AND HE DIRECTED ME TO A SMALL BLUE TAP which he said after turning would get the water flowing after an hour and a half...well still n no luck. I am in a house share and the others are not pleased
